The Cathedral

Following extensive demolition, the building footprint was nearly doubled. New structural steel and timber framing formed the complex wall and roof lines. These were finished off with bricks to match the original building, lock seam zinc cladding and coloursteel roofing. Extensive new aluminium joinery incorporates both new and refurbished stained glass panels protected by double glazing. The interior has been finished to a high standard to provide a serene place of worship.he Cathedral is a high profile community project where public funds had been raised and needed to be accounted for as being prudently spent. Everyone who contributed is delighted with the outcome of this project.
