Overview
Developed by Foster Develop and constructed by Foster Construction, this mixed-use retail and commercial development was shaped through collaboration with local community groups - to ensure it reflected the needs of Omokoroa residents.
The development provides a hub for health and medical services, retail, professional services, hospitality and public gathering spaces, supporting 26 local businesses within a modern village environment.
About the project
Landscaped gardens, playgrounds and outdoor seating areas encourage community connection and create a destination for both locals and visitors.
Delivered between March 2022 and September 2023, the project involved multiple building hubs, civil works and fitouts progressing simultaneously to ensure businesses could open together and maximise commercial success.
The naturally sloping site required innovative design and construction solutions, including undercroft parking and stepped foundations that minimised earthworks while maximising usable space.
Strong project management, procurement and stakeholder coordination were key to successfully delivering this complex, multi-stage development within a challenging construction market.
