Overview
In 2020, Tauranga City Council (TCC) engaged Fosters to carry out extension works at the Mount Maunganui Holiday Park.
Situated in an idyllic and central location, the holiday park had become increasingly popular with tourists. TCC wanted to ensure amenities of a suitable scale and standard were available at the facility to accommodate demand.
About the project
Works comprised of the partial demolition of the existing structure, and the construction of a new lounge and dining area. Exterior works included an outdoor BBQ/patio area, a new retaining wall, fences, and landscaping.
The facility remained operational during construction, so it was important that the team coordinated works to minimise inconvenience to park users. TCC protocols around communication and the minimisation of disruption were stringently adhered to.
This seamlessly coordinated project was delivered on time and defect-free.
