Bidfresh Hamilton, part of Bidfood Limited, recently moved into their first purpose-built premises in Burbush – the new office and refrigerated warehouse with a large carpark and truck way effectively doubling their capacity.
“It’s inevitable that unforeseen problems arise on these sorts of projects – the benefit of working with Fosters is that they are quick to resolve any issues and they keep you in the loop.”
Gus Tissink, General Manager of Bidfresh Hamilton says that Fosters won the tender because they were competitively priced, local, and interpreted the brief well.
“From the outset, Fosters asked the right questions. We were confident they would deliver on our vision” recalls Gus.
Building sustainably added to Fosters’ appeal, Gus adds. “We saw that Fosters had a clear focus on sustainable building. And as we went through the build, we saw this wasn’t just a statement on paper; there were visible steps in place, like recycling on site.”
Bidfresh was designed by Peter Swan. Fosters added small details in terms of materials.
“Working with Fosters was a great experience” Gus continues. “Their project management was key to the success of our build and communication was excellent. “It’s inevitable that unforeseen problems arise on these sorts of projects – the benefit of working with Fosters is that they are quick to resolve any issues and they keep you in the loop. Even now the project is complete, they haven’t just disappeared; we have an ongoing relationship.
“I would absolutely build with Fosters again – they have a good team of people who delivered us a quality product with a high standard of finish, on time, and on budget.”
