Fergus Bar & Kitchen (Tourism & Leisure)
A modern, single-storey pub located in the Kinfields Development at Rototuna. This design-build project, including high-end fitout, stands out for its exceptional quality, collaborative problem-solving, and innovative construction methods, earning recognition for its timely and budget-conscious delivery.
The project exemplified teamwork throughout, with seamless integration of the fitout into the basebuild, allowing for high-quality standards without delays or overspending.
Notable in the construction process was the design of a raft slab to address low-strength soils, which minimised excavation and ensured structural integrity.

Waikato Hospital Molecular Laboratory (Health)
This project included a significant upgrade to the PC1, 2 and 3 laboratory area on Level 3 in the Waiora Centre, adding more space, co-locating services, reconfiguring lab space, and fitting a new Molecular Biology Laboratory.
A complex project, it involved two 3910 contracts under one Health NZ business case.
Completed a year ahead of a 35-month business case and more than 10% under budget, success was testament to the collaborative approach and trust between key stakeholders: Octa Project Management, APG Architects, Fosters, and Te Whatu Ora - Health NZ.

Ray Staiger (Industrial)
This project combined a 1,200m² warehouse and an 800m² two-storey office, to consolidate the company’s operations into a modern, efficient space.
The basebuild was an ECI project while the fitout was a design-build contract. The result combined functional design with a purpose-built solution, the high-quality finish exceeding the Staiger family’s expectations, positively impacting both operations and company culture.
A key standout was Fosters’ ability to deliver a bespoke design under budget, particularly through value engineering of the floor slab. This allowed for higher-spec fitout finishes, all within the original base build budget.
Project success came down to strong teamwork, with all stakeholders buying into the Staiger family's vision.
