Warren Luxton Appointed as Fosters CEO

Foster Construction Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Warren Luxton as its new Chief Executive Officer.

An experienced and successful leader, Warren brings a strong strategic focus, financial acumen, and innovative thinking to the role. In every position he has held, he has been pivotal in developing comprehensive strategies that have delivered profitable, year-on-year growth.

“Warren is a natural collaborator, respected leader, trusted business partner, and well suited to lead Fosters,” said Fosters Board Chair, Sacha Coburn.

For the past four years, Warren has been CEO of the New Zealand Construction Alliance (NZCA), growing it into a network of eight construction businesses with a combined delivery team of more than 1,000 people operating from 16 offices nationwide. Under his leadership, NZCA successfully bid for and delivered multiple contracts, establishing itself as a competitive national construction offering.

In addition, Warren has served as Deputy Chair of the Foster Construction Group Board for the last two years. “During this time, Warren has worked out of the Fosters office, gaining a good understanding of our business and proving to be a valued member of the team,” said Sacha.

Prior to NZCA, Warren was CFO at CBRE Asia Pacific, a $1.2bn multinational commercial real estate business, where he worked across the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

A Waikato local, Warren returned home with his wife Michelle and their two sons in 2020, drawn by the region’s lifestyle and commercial opportunities.

“With Warren’s deep understanding of construction at a national level, his financial background in larger corporates, and his ability to bring teams together, we look forward to his contribution to Fosters,” Sacha concluded. “Importantly, he understands our commitment to put our Waikato and Bay of Plenty communities at the heart of all we do.”
