High-End Office Fitout for Gallagher Insurance, Hamilton.
Gallagher Insurance are one of the world’s top three insurance brokerage and risk management companies, operating in more than 130 countries. Formerly known as Crombie Lockwood in New Zealand, the company supports around 160,000 clients through 30 offices and a team of 1,000 brokers.
About the project
With a long-standing base in Hamilton, Gallagher Insurance partnered with TBIG and Fosters to deliver a high-quality, purpose-built office fitout designed to meet the needs of their their growing, younger workforce.
Located on the fourth floor of the Bridgewater Building, the 1,000m² project involved the complete demolition and rebuild of the interior space. New acoustic walls, HVAC, data and electrical systems were installed, along with high-end finishes including Ambitec polished plaster walls, bespoke cabinetry, a suspended planter over the kitchen, timber privacy screens and Autex feature panels.
A key challenge was working in a live environment, where demolition noise impacted neighbouring medical tenants. Fosters coordinated carefully timed rubbish removal and deliveries with the building’s management and body corporate. Materials were Hiab-lifted to a custom loading tower, while internal loading was planned to avoid disrupting workflow and structure.
Delivered on time and to a premium standard, this project is a showcase of collaborative delivery, smart logistics, and attention to detail.
